Bóymoder Brownie
Ingredients
- 225g unsalted butter (1 cup)
- 75g unsweetened cocoa powder (¾ cup)
- 220g brown sugar (1 cup)
- 50g sugar (¼ cup)
- 3 eggs
- 120g all-purpose flour (1 cup)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee (optional)
- chocolate chips (optional)
Preparations
- Preheat your oven to 175C (350F)
- Prepare a baking pan with parchment paper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, melt the butter, microwaving at half power in 20 seconds bursts, stiring in between
- Add the cocoa powder and whisk, you don't need to sift as the warm butter will bloom the cocoa powder, making it dissolve properly
- Add the sugars and whisk
- Add the eggs and whisk vigorously, the more you whisk, the more the sugar will dissolve, that gives you a nicer crackly top
- Mix the salt, vanilla extract and coffee
- Add the flour and mix until just combined, also the chocolate chips if any
- Pour the batter into the pan
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes depending on the consistency you want (lesser for more gooie) and thickness of your brownie (dependent on the baking pan you are using), just keep an eye on it
- Let it cool down before removing from the tray or cutting, brownies are sensitive while hot!

This boymoder brownie also has some dulce de leche inside, i'll change for a pic of a normal brownie next time i make it
Notes
- Your main flavoring is going to be the cocoa powder, use a good one!
- Be a good boymoder and crack the eggs in a separate bowl so no shells get into your precious brownie!
- The coffee enhances the flavor of chocolate, you can use decaf :3
- The amount of chocolate chips i'd recommend is 1 cup (~180g) but you can use however much you prefer :3
