Bóymoder Corn Starch Cookies
Ingredients
- 113g butter (½ cup)
- 200 sweetened condensed milk (½ cup)
- 280g corn starch
- ½ teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla (optional)
Preparations
- Preheat your oven to 175C (350F)
- Prepare baking trays with parchment paper on the bottom, you'll probably need to do more than one batch in the oven
Instructions
- Whisk so everything is well distributed
- In a medium bowl add the butter (room temperature) and sweetened condensed milk (also salt and vanilla)
- Mix the two with a spatula or whisk, it'll be a little clumpy but you just need a mostly combined mixture
- Add the corn starch and mix it, in 2-3 batches, you'll probably have to use your hands to combine the dough by the end
- Once the dough is homogeneous, make them into little balls that are a little pressed down, they don't spread much in the oven
- Bake for around 15 minutes, or until the cookie edges start browning (or until the whole cookie is brown, some people like that)
- Let them cool a bit before eating
- Enjoy your boymoder corn starch cookies :3
Notes
- You can play with the proportions depending on what you have and what you like, less or more of each in small amounts won't change the dough too much
- If the cookies are spreading out in the oven, chill them in the fridge for about 30 minutes (i never had this happen tho)
