Bóymoder Egg Whites Cake

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the flour and baking powder (also the salt)
  2. Whisk so everything is well distributed
  3. Now with a large bowl (or bowl of your stand mixer) and a medium bowl, separate the white and yolk of the eggs, whites going into the large bowl, yolks into the medium
  4. With your stand mixer or electric mixer, beat the egg whites until they start getting lighter and fluffier
  5. As you beat, slowly add about ¼ cup of the sugar until stiff peaks form
  6. Add the rest of the sugar to the bowl with the yolks, beat until the color lightens
  7. Add the milk to the yolks and sugar and beat until homogeneous
  8. Add the yolk mixture to the flour mixture and gently mix until combined
  9. Add half of the beaten egg whites to the flour mixture, gently mix until combined
  10. Add the rest of the beaten egg whites and even more gently mix until combined
  11. Pour the batter into the pan
  12. Bake for around 30 minutes depending on the thickness of your cake (dependent on the baking pan you are using), once the cake starts pulling off the edges and a skewer inserted in the middle comes off clean, it is done
