Bóymoder Unleavened Flat Bread
Ingredients
Makes 5-8 flat breads depending on size of the flat bread you make
- 240g flour (2 cups)
- 180g water (¾ cup)
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, add all the ingredients
- Combine it into a ball with a spoon then your hands
- Place the ball of dough into a counter and knead until it's smooth and pressing on it makes it bounce back
- Let it rest for at least 20 minutes
- Cut your dough into 4-6 pieces depending on how big and thick you want the flat breads
- Either with your hands or a rolling pin (if you want them thinner), roll them out into little discs
- Cook them at medium heat for about 2 minutes on the first side and about a minute and a half on the second side (or until they are cooked in the way you like them)

Notes
- You can play around with this recipe a lot, change a bit or all of the water for milk or eggs, season the batter with whatever you like, make them thicker or thinner, add 1 or 2 tbsp sugar to make them brown more, add 1 or 2 tbsp butter or olive oil to make them fluffier, add 1 tsp baking powder to make them puff up ever more
- Ideally you should use bread flour, but if you don't have any, normal flour will work (although you might need more kneading or more flour to make the dough stop sticking)
